Bob is involved in all aspects of branch operations, including staffing and hiring, project performance, profitability, cost controls, and customer and vendor relationships. A hands-on leader, Bob’s favorite aspect of his work is being able to get out on a job site with the team.
Expertise
Bob has been near the fire protection industry since he was young. His father was one of a S.A. Comunale’s earliest employees, working out of our Bellevue, OH, branch when the company was first getting started. Bob’s father taught him how to lay out sprinkler heads and design systems.
Bob began his own career with our team in 1990, designing part-time while attending the University of Toledo. In 1993, when we acquired Ohio Independent Sprinkler, he began working full-time in Fremont.
Throughout his career, Bob has gained experience in all facets of the industry, including delivering materials, hanging pipe, performing inspections, service and contract sales, project management, and labor power scheduling.
The Personal Side
Outside of work, Bob enjoys offshore power boating and snowmobiling with his wife, family, and friends.
